Christmas and the Queen City
Mark your calendars now for Christmas and the Queen City. This Christmas Season we will focus on the true story of Christmas - one of love, hope, redemption and relationship. Plan now to join us for the following:
- Love and Serve Engagement Area: 11/30 - 12/14
- Christmas with Selah: 12/6
- Advent Conspiracy Sermon Series: 11/30 - 12/21
- If the true Christmas story is about love and redemption, what happened? How did it turn into stuff, stress and debt? Somehow, we’ve traded the best story in the world for the story of what’s on sale. Advent Conspiracy resists the cultural Christmas narrative of consumption by choosing a revolutionary Christmas by Worshiping Fully, Spending Less, Giving More and Loving All.
- Worship Schedule:
- December 21 Services at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00am, NO Discipleship Communities
- December 28 Services at 9:30 and 11:00am, NO Discipleship Communities
- Christmas Eve Worship Services: December 24 at 2:00, 3:30, 5:00 and 6:30pm
- To help us better prepare for all who want to come , please let us know when you and your family will be worshiping with us on December 24! Click here to select a service time.

Send a Christmas Card to a Carmel Sponsored Missionary
While you are sending out your Christmas cards, don't forget our Carmel Supported Missionaries. They would love to know you are remembering and praying for them at this time of year. You can either email them a message (click here for their names and email addresses), or if you prefer, write a card. Just put their name on the front of the envelope, drop it in one of our Welcome Desk drop boxes, and we will forward them to the missionary family.

Surrendering the Secret Bible Study
Christ came for all, died for all and loves all; not just those who chose life. Studies indicate that 43% of women have had an abortion. You are not alone if you have dealt with this issue! Post-abortive women are your mothers, your sisters, your friends, neighbors and co-workers! There is hope. There is healing. There is freedom. Surrendering the Secret is an 8-week, closed group study that will guide you on the path to the abundant life for which Jesus gave His life. Come share your heart in a safe, confidential environment and experience all that God has in store for you. You will never be the same! For inquiries about Surrendering the Secret, contact us at . Inquiries are completely confidential

There is a charge for non-members and for all who take the class for credit. Each semester of Journey Bible Study stands alone, so feel free to jump in this winter term! If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Alison Littauer at . Register here.
If you have elementary school age children, join us on Wednesday, January 7, 2015; for Famjam – a Family Experience where parents and their children learn a Life Application based on God's attributes. The Life Application for January is Commitment. When it comes down what matters most, faith and knowing God better, it doesn't happen automatically. It requires commitment, which we define as "Making a plan and putting it into practice."
Start 2015 with a plan to focus on what matters most - your relationship with God. The Uptown Auditorium opens at 6:10pm. Please sit as a family so you can learn and worship together.
You can sign up to receive emails from Carmel, one from Pastor Alex, the Carmel ENews with updates about the latest events, Table Talk and occasional special updates. To receive Carmel Email, please complete this form.
Carmel Community is the place where you can find phone numbers and email addresses for Carmel Baptist members and attenders. It is an online version of the old church directory - much improved. This is a secure site where you can easily search for contact information for members of the Carmel Family. Plus, in Carmel Community it’s easy to update your church records with a new phone number, email address or a family photo! In addition to serving as an online directory, Carmel Community also provides event registration and online giving options. It is a one-stop-shop! Check it out here.
