Crossing the Waters by Leslie Leyland Fields

Get ready for the wettest, stormiest, wildest trip through the Gospels you’ve ever taken! The Gospels are dramatic and incredibly wet, set in a rich maritime culture on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Yet we’ve missed much of this perspective - until now. We will be challenged in our understanding of Jesus and what it means to “Come, follow me.”

Soul Care: An Introduction to the Season of Lent (@Home)

The story of our faith is retold each and every year through the church calendar.  Within it believers have the opportunity to remember the beautiful story of God’s extravagant love for his people by journeying through the life of Christ.  Lent is a season of repentance and reflection.  Believers are urged to retreat with Jesus into the wilderness – in real time - for 40 days of spiritual examination.  Just as Advent prepares our hearts for the celebration of the Incarnation, Lent prepares our hearts to enter into Holy Week – and celebrate the Resurrection with renewed awe and joy.  Without embracing and coming to terms with the bad news of our sin nature, we cannot fully appreciate how amazing the Good News of the Gospel truly is.

Thursday Nights (6:30 - 8:00pm)

Proven by Jennie Allen

You don’t have anything to prove. Too many of us walk through life feeling as if we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. And thankfully, we don’t have to be. In this 8-session study, Jennie Allen walks through key passages in the Book of John to demonstrate how only Jesus is enough. We don't have to prove anything because Jesus has already proven everything. Discover how our thirsty hearts can only be quenched by the living water.
