Disaster Relief

Through Carmel's partnership with North Carolina Baptist Men, Carmel is ready to serve at a moments notice in case a natural disaster strikes.  Carmel has a team trained in disaster relief and a Disaster Relief Trailer stocked with the needed tools and supplies in case of an emergency.  For more information on how to be involved in the Disaster Relief Team of Carmel Baptist Church, email Diane McGee at .

North Carolina Baptist Men Disaster Relief Training is available to all believers who have a passion to serve others.  Disaster response is a unique mission experience because of the sudden nature of the event, difficult conditions, and high expectations from other relief organizations and survivors.  We hope you desire to serve God in this type of ministry and that you apply that desire through NCBM Disaster Relief.

In the aftermath of the devastation in the Philippines from Typhoon Haiyan, the Carmel family is supporting the disaster relief efforts through the International Mission Board. Carmel will send $10,000 immediately from our Disaster Relief fund to aid the victims of this terrible tragedy. Please continue to pray for the relief efforts for the Filipino people.  Pray that supplies such as food, clean water and building materials will be able to be delivered very soon. Pray for the thousands who are grieving the loss of loved ones.  Pray for opportunities for believers to share their faith.
