Charlotte is a diverse city with diverse needs, made up of people from all over the world. At Carmel we are committed to reaching our community for Christ, and this means ministering to the different needs of our community. Below are some of the ways Carmel meets the needs of our city.
Voice for Life Ministry:
Every human being is valued simply because we are God’s image bearers (Genesis 1:26) and deeply loved by our Creator. Because of that, the church is called to “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed." Proverbs 31:8 Click here for information on Carmel's Voice for Life Ministry.
Mosaic Adoption Ministry:
We are called to "Take up the cause of the fatherless" (Isaiah 1:17). Mosaic is Carmel's response to this call. Our mission is to make disciples of those Nearest, our Neighbors and the Nations. We desire to be the hands and feet of Christ that will defend the fatherless and bring family to the orphan in our Neighborhoods and the Nations while also supporting those Nearest in the orphan care process. For Freedom Ministry:
These are the people who have been overlooked in society, including those at the mercy of human trafficking. Human Trafficking is slavery! There are currently 27 million men, women and children trapped in it around the world - in brothels, in factories, in mines, on street corners, in homes. They are in the shadows; yet out in broad daylight - in plain sight here in America, even in Charlotte, North Carolina!
Therefore Carmel is for freedom! Click here to to learn more about Carmel's For Freedom Ministry.
Special Needs Community Ministry:
