Prayer at Carmel

Prayer_PrayingHands_Small

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.   And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7

"Pray continually..." I Thessalonians 5:17

At Carmel we believe prayer is central to everything we do in ministry.  This section of our web site will give you a way to enter prayer requests, pray for others, learn of group prayer opportunities, discover resources on the subject of prayer and read some of our thoughts on prayer.

Prayer Path

On Sunday, August 24, 2014 you heard Pastor Alex share his desire that Carmel be known as a community of prayer. In sharing his vision/goal that we grow in dependent prayer, he introduced the new virtual prayer path that is now installed around the the Carmel campus.  The Prayer Path starts with post #1 near the Wee School entrance and finishes with post #6 on the far side of the CCS building by the flag pole.  Instructions/suggestions for prayer and directions to the next post will be at each post location. Please come by individually or with family members and prayer walk our campus.  Let's cover the campus with a blanket of prayer and watch what our Father in heaven will do.

Please join Pastor Alex, the ministerial team and our elders as we pray for a heart for dependent prayer for the entire Carmel Family!
