Revive the Dream
Saturday, April 14, 2018, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Commemorating the Legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
This April, our nation will remember the 50th anniversary of the death of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In Charlotte, we have the chance to seize this anniversary as a time to build meaningful relationships and be in the Word.
To honor Rev. King's legacy, on Saturday, April 14, American Bible Society and nearly 20 of our city's churches, including Carmel, are partnering together to host "Reviving the Dream," a free event in his memory.
Starting at 9:00am, join a local and national dialogue that will include courageous conversations, discussions about our past, present and future, and how scripture addresses the issues. At 11:00am, families of all ages can participate in a dynamic worship time, symbolic march, fellowship and luncheon. RSVP information is below.
Also, as a next-step from this event, numerous churches are partnering together across racial and denominational lines to participate in cross-cultural Bible studies based on a curriculum written by the American Bible Society. This curriculum and these studies are open to any church that wishes to join. Please let us know if you have an interest in participating in Carmel's bible study, co-facilitated with The Park Church - South.
