Mosaic Adoption Ministry

2013 Mosaic Family Picnic

"A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:5-6

We are called to "Take up the cause of the fatherless" (Isaiah 1:17). Mosaic is Carmel's response to this call. Our mission is to make disciples of those Nearest, our Neighbors and the Nations. We desire to be the hands and feet of Christ that will defend the fatherless and bring family to the orphan in our Neighborhoods and the Nations while also supporting those Nearest in the orphan care process.

There are more than 400,000 children in the foster system in the U.S. today, with over 100,000 waiting to be adopted. Globally, an estimated 17.8 million children have lost both parents. There is a need that we are compelled, as disciples of Christ, to address. Mosaic Adoption Ministry desires to provide support, resources, and encouragement to those seeking to adopt, foster, or minister to orphans in America and abroad.

Were you adopted? Are you an adoptive or foster family? Are you strongly considering adoption? The Mosaic Adoption Ministry wants to walk this journey with you. Click HERE to send us your family's information. You will receive information about upcoming Mosaic events.

How You Can Help:

As followers of Christ, we are all called to minister to orphans here and abroad. While this may look different in every family, we can all be active participants. Click HERE for a list of practical ways to get involved in orphan care.
