Worship and Connect on Sunday Mornings

We value worship at Carmel because our God is due our worship and praise. We are called to worship God privately as individuals and together as a congregation, the body of Christ. We have a congregational worship philosophy that encourages all generations of the Carmel Family to worship together.

Pastor Alex brings the same message at all three worship hours. Each of our Sunday morning worship services lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes and includes the same elements of worship and music. The worship team usually consists of a band and singers and sometimes a praise choir and orchestra.

Got a Preschooler? If you are new to Carmel, we encourage you to start by attending a Sunday worship service. If you have preschool children, we have a safe, fun place for them to be while you attend worship (available during all three service times). Come a little early and ask someone at the Welcome Desk to show you where to go. Kindergarteners and older children can attend worship with their parents.

After attending worship, drop by a Welcome Desk and to find out more about our Sunday morning Discipleship Communities for childrenstudents, and adults. Most of the people you see in worship also attend a Discipleship Community on Sunday morning. This the is place to connect with others and make friendships that last a lifetime.

Japanese Ministry Worship

The Japanese Ministry at Carmel led by Rev. Kenji Takami meets for worship on the third Sunday of each month at 2:00pm in the Choir Room.
This ministry reaches out to the Japanese community in the Charlotte metro area.  To learn more about the Japanese Ministry, click here
