Resources for Parents
It seems like "normal" just disappeared overnight, doesn't it?
Sure, things are pretty different right now, but that doesn't mean you are at this alone! We have put together a weekly rhythm as well as resources to help you stay connected to your faith community and keep you and your kids focused on Christ!
This is a time when we are all home together a lot - make the most of these opportunities for godly conversations. Here are some additional ways you can lead your family while we wait for "normal" to return!
Create a Weekly Routine
- Worship Online Together - The most important thing you can do is watch the live worship service every Sunday at 9:30. Gather your whole family (kids included!) and tune in to sing together and hear from Pastor Alex. On Sunday afternoons, you'll get our weekly Table Talk with discussion questions!
- Midday Minute - Every day, someone from our ministerial or staff team will share a one minute video of encouragement with you and your family. Join the list here if you didn't get this, and other Carmel emails in your inbox!
- Wednesday nights for CarmelKidz (1st - 6th Grade) @ 6:30pm on the CarmelKidz Facebook page & Carmel Students in 7th-12th grade (and their families) @ 7:00pm on the new Student Ministry YouTube page.
- Read the Word and pray daily with your family - identify ways to THANK God for how He is at work in, and around your family!
