Tuesday Mornings

Awaken: Marriage.  This class has now reached capacity and registration is closed.

NOTE: The Awaken Bible study is designed especially for mothers of children newborn through teen.

As women, our days revolve around busy schedules, commitments and meeting the needs of others. Because of this, we often put our most precious and important earthly relationship, the relationship with our husbands, on the back burner. We operate on “auto-pilot”, missing the happiness and deep friendship that God intends in our marriages.

This winter, Awaken will focus on how we can practically breathe life and joy into our marriages. Armed with biblical principles and extensive research, we’ll uncover new insights into the unique way our husbands are wired and how we can discover the joy and fulfillment God intends within the true meaning of marriage.

If life’s demands have caused your marriage to take a back seat, there’s no better or more important time to focus on God’s best gift to you - your husband. Your reward will come in seeing a wonderful side of your husband, one you may have never before seen, and in discovering that falling in love with Jesus first is the key to a marriage that flourishes.

Early registration is strongly recommended. Free childcare is available upon registration and will fill quickly.

Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin

Matthew’s gospel contains three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message. How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? What is the nature of true righteousness? The Sermon on the Mount study will consider the complete teachings – a study on blessedness, a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, and a meditation on lilies of the field. We will navigate the three chapters as they were originally heard: as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification.
