Preteens at a Glance

Carmel has created CarmelKidz Preteens for 6th graders who are caught at the crossroad between childhood and becoming teenagers.

This is the place where preteens develop a “God Sense” to help navigate a changing world which is inundated with many voices and distractions.

5 CORE ESSENTIALS:

• Faith:  Authentic and growing faith; The Bible, the ultimate authority in my life; and Jesus, the one and only way
• Identity: Who I am in Christ
• Wisdom: Moral Boundaries; Wise choices
• Relationship: Healthy Friendship
• Service/Mission: Gifts discovered and used
