Through this course\, rooted in Scripture\, you will learn about each believer’s opportunity to join in God’s global purpose. Learn more and register here.\nParenting Class – Pastor Patrick and Shannon McCrory will lead a parenting class for CarmelKidz and Carmel Preschool parents from 6:30-7:30pm. No registration is required.\nTable Talk Small Group – Gather with others for conversation and community as you dive deeper into what we are learning on Sunday mornings. This group will meet weekly from 6:30-7:30 pm to discuss the previous week’s sermon.\nCare Groups -We all face seasons of struggle\, challenges we don’t know how to face or moments when hope is fading. Carmel’s Care care groups provide encouragement\, hope and resources for walking through those seasons. DESCRIPTION:The Missions Course is a 7-week study that reveals God’s heart for the nations and invites you to play your part in it! We believe God has\nwritten a script through all creation that sees His Name glorified\, through Christ\, among the nations\, and all of us have a role in it. \nThis fall we’ll be hosting two sessions of The Missions Course on Wednesdays from 6:20-7:40pm.  The first session will be September 3 –  October 15. The second session will be October 29 – December 10. Come explore God’s heart for the nations and discern your role in glorifying His name in the earth. Our time together will focus on worship and studying the Word\, intentional time with the Lord\, equipping students to live and proclaim the gospel\, and building community in the midst of some beautiful surroundings. We will also have some small group competitions that are sure to be a great time on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Do you feel like our culture is trying to redefine expectations regarding adulthood? Biblically\, parents are called to equip their children to become men and women of God. Families will learn how God has uniquely designed men and women\, and how we live out those roles. Our desire is to help our sons and daughters to embrace growing up into manhood or womanhood with a biblical mindset. \n\nKey Concepts: Biblical roles of men and women\, spiritual gifts\, spiritual disciplines\, service in the church and dealing with failure\nFocus: 9th – 10th grade students\nMilestone Celebration: Passage to Manhood/Womanhood\n\nParent Training \nAs primary disciple-makers we all need a little help learning how to pass on our faith and navigating our culture with a biblical worldview. That is why we host Stepping Into Adulthood Parenting Workshops each January. We discuss how God has uniquely designed men and women\, how we live out those roles\, and how to translate it to our sons and daughters to embrace growing up into manhood or womanhood with a biblical mindset. Plus\, you will learn about ways to celebrate this milestone as you participate with the community of parents that are on the same path as you. *The next Parent Trainings will be held in S201/202 on January 18 and in S303/304 on January 25\, 2026.  \nHow do we celebrate Stepping Into Adulthood Milestone at Carmel? \nRite of Passage ceremonies are deeply personal and different for every family. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Therefore\, we walk alongside families to develop a unique celebration for their student at time and place that works best for the family. The key is to celebrate this Milestone in a special way will help make it memorable. This celebration can include a weekend trip\, a meal at their favorite restaurant\, doing a creative project\, a community gathering in the home\, the list could go on and on. When you are ready to walk your 10th-12th grade student through a Rite of Passage celebration let us know by filling out the form below so that we can pray for and support you through this milestone. \nRite of Passage Celebration Form
