Celebration service begins at 9:30am
Mark your calendar as our entire church family gathers — rain or shine — for one special celebration service at the Carowinds Paladium. Since Carmel was planted in 1965, we’ve seen God move in incredible ways. As we look back with gratitude and ahead with hope, we’ll worship together and give thanks for His faithfulness.
Paladium doors open at 9:00am, come early to make sure you have plenty of time to park and make your way into the Paladium’s covered seating.
Parking will be free on the day of the event with the QR code above (for those without a season pass that includes parking).
**ALL worship services and groups will meet at Carowinds on Sunday, September 21. There will be no on-campus worship services or groups on Sunday, September 21.**
No! The church campus will be closed on Sunday, September 21. Everyone will meet for a single service at the Carowinds Paladium.
There is no charge to attend the 60th Anniversary Celebration Service. Parking is also covered with the QR code above. If you want to ensure the park after Carmel’s celebration service, you will need to purchase DISCOUNTED tickets. Click here to purchase!
If you have a season pass you do not need to purchase park tickets for use after the celebration service. If your season pass includes parking, please use that in place of the above QR code. Thank you!
Special Edition Anniversary Shirts will be available for purchase in the Gathering Space on Wednesdays September 10 + 17 as well as this Sunday morning September 14. Both adult and kids’ sizes will be $5/each, payable by card or check.
Yes! The service is for everyone, including kids of all ages. Children’s activity packets, including word searches, coloring pages and more, will be available at the Paladium.
No outside food and drink will be allowed into the Paladium, however Starbucks and Cinnabon just inside the park gates will be open the morning of the event if you would like to purchase something.
Yes, bags are allowed. Everyone will go through Carowinds’ security before entering the Paladium area.
An open-air amphitheater located at Carowinds’ North Gate. The Paladium provides ample space for our entire church family and friends, including 3,000 covered seats.
No, but your parking fee is covered when you use the QR code above on the day of the event. We will park in the general Carowinds lot as close as possible to the North Gate (entrance for access to the Paladium). Carmel shuttles will be driving around the parking lot for those who want a ride to the front entrance prior to the service.
Yes! Carmel greeters will be leading you from the parking lot to the Paladium.
Come anyway! The Carowinds Paladium is covered. We plan to celebrate rain or shine.
