Jordin is a counseling intern at Carmel Counseling Center under the supervision of Emily Snodgrass. She holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, is an ordained ECO pastor, and is currently pursuing graduate training in counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Jordin’s path into counseling grew out of her personal experience and pastoral ministry, where she consistently encountered people longing not just for answers, but for sustained presence, understanding, and space to heal. Over time, she felt drawn to counseling to walk more closely with individuals as they make sense of their experiences and move toward meaningful change.
Jordin seeks to create an emotionally safe, collaborative, and authentic space where clients feel supported and respected. Her approach is person-centered and relational, drawing from Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand their stories and inner experiences and to foster growth through greater awareness and connection.
Jordin works with children through play therapy, as well as adolescents and adults, and supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, loneliness and disconnection, identity concerns, and life transitions. She is especially attentive to experiences of isolation and seeks to help clients cultivate deeper connection with themselves and with others.
Her background includes international mission and cross-cultural work, as well as teaching theology at the undergraduate level, experiences that have shaped her sensitivity to diverse stories and perspectives. Jordin is attentive to clients’ spiritual backgrounds and is open to integrating faith into the counseling process when desired by the client.
Outside of counseling, Jordin enjoys spending time with her family, good coffee, and exploring new places.
