1 John 3:11-18

The ultimate proof of our vertical

relationship with God is our horizontal

love for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

-How are you loving the body of Christ?

-Broken relationships can’t be normal.

-Love is righteousness in action.

If we live for God, the world will hate us

because our lives make them

painfully aware of their sin.

-Man, without Jesus, is wretched.

-Hatred among believers is abnormal.

-Love for our Christian family is

evidence that we have been born again.

The self-sacrifice of Jesus is not just

an example to be admired;

it is an example to copy.

-A person’s life is their most

precious possession.

-Are you a giver or taker of life?

Are you as generous as God wants

you to be with your money, your time,

and your possessions?
