1 John 4:13-21

You can know that God is your Father and you can know Him. God is made complete in us when we express that love towards one another by the power of the Holy Spirit. Verse 17 -We don’t need to worry about the coming judgement -We know who He is, what He did, and what that means for us. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. Gospel Truth: Perfect love casts out fear Cultural Reality: Perpetual fear casts out love We love because He first loved us. -We respond to His proactive initiating -He came for us -It is not conditional -It is not performative Because He first loved us, we can confidently and fearlessly love for THAT day while we outrageously love others THIS day.
