The 3 People We All Need in Our Life

The picture of the story that God is writing in our lives began long ago. 1 Peter 2:9-11 is an illustration of us being added to a royal priesthood, while still sojourners and exiles in this world. We all have a role to play in His story. Paul Paul said, “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ”. 1 Cor 11:1. We must learn from wise counsel. Where are you putting your life on display? Who is around you that you can invite into the story? Barnabas Hebrews 1:24-25 says, “Stir up one another to love and good works”. You can’t be a Christian in isolation. The church body is a filling up and a pouring out. Our relationships should be built on Jesus. God can work through a moment that can send shockwaves through eternity. Make your relationships count. Encouraging one another starts with turning our relationship towards Christ. Discuss this statement, “We don’t talk to lost people about Jesus because we don’t talk about Jesus with safe people.” Timothy 2 Timothy 1:2-5 shows us that Timothy learned from his grandmother and mother. Discipleship small groups start in the home. It’s not about having it all together, but about being available. Pray that God would open your eyes to the opportunities around you.
