AWAKEN: THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE

As women, our days spin around busy schedules, commitments and meeting the needs of others. Because we’re pulled in so many directions, we often put our most important earthly relationship, the relationship with our husbands, on the backburner. We operate on “auto-pilot”, missing the deep friendship and abundance that God intends in our marriages.

This winter, Awaken will focus on how we can practically breathe life back into our marriages. Armed with biblical principles and extensive research, we’ll uncover new insights into the unique way our husbands are wired and how we can discover the fulfillment God intends within the true meaning of marriage.

If the rhythm of life and the stress of circumstances have caused your marriage to take a back seat, there’s no better or more important time to focus here. Your reward will come in rediscovering who he is and who you are together, and in discovering that falling in love with Jesus first is the key to a marriage that flourishes. Marriage was never intended to be a fairy tale. It is so much richer than that…marriage is holy ground.

Join us for a Bible Study community that brims with joy and life. Awaken is designed especially for mothers with children birth – young adult. Limited childcare is provided.

Discover ways to live with integrity and courage in a broken world. Our identity in Christ provides the framework for understanding that our inner thirst is meant to lead us to God for satisfaction – letting Him fill us from the inside out. Where is God when we cannot seem to hear or see Him? He is with us. He is working providently in all things to accomplish His plans and purposes. And nowhere do we see this more clearly than in the book of Esther. An active small group of women using Lifeway’s MasterWorks curriculum. We love, serve and pray for one another as we grow together in the Word of God.

HELD BY HOPE (Miscarriage/Infant Loss)

Held by Hope uses Biblical reflections on God’s comfort and care in the sorrow of miscarriage and infant loss. In this study, women suffering from the sorrow of miscarriage and baby loss will walk alongside each other during their journey of heartbreak. With many women feeling isolated, this study will focus on the Biblical truth that God sees them, knows them, loves them and is actively caring for them. The verses in Psalm 139 will show women that God can bring comfort, assurance, protection, and purpose in the very sorrow that they are experiencing. We understand and will walk with you on this journey!

PRECEPT: JOHN – THE WORD BECAME FLESH/THE TRUE VINE

Do you want to grow in your understanding of Jesus, the Son of God?  Do you want to learn what He said about Himself and what that means?  From the beginning to the end of the book, John reveals Jesus as the Son of God. This is a great introductory study for those interested in learning to do in-depth Bible study.  2.5 – 5 hours depending on the homework tract you select.

The righteous shall live by faith! Do you live out your faith? What practical things can you do to show that you have been justified? Romans 12 – 16 are very practical chapters! The book of Proverbs shows us how to live God’s way in God’s world. It presses us not just to behave rightly but to believe rightly, training us in the fear of the Lord and pointing us to the path of godly wisdom. This study is designed to be used in a specific way – focusing on comprehension, interpretation and application with a small group discussion time. The video teaching will aid in resolving most, if not all, of your unanswered questions after discussing your homework. With this in mind, we would love to have you join us as we take a deeper look into Proverbs.
