Crossroads

We are a diverse group of believers who do life together. Our class is very interactive and discussive. We do social events and mission projects together. We keep in touch throughout the week and share what is going on in our lives.

David’s Heart

Our group is made up of singles, couples, and people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. We fellowship, study God’s word, and worship together by signing hymns.

Digging Deeper

We are currently doing various studies through books of the Bible along with some topical studies. We engage in social activities and service opportunities throughout the year.

E3

E3 stands for: “Encourage Believers, Equip the Saints, and Engage the Culture.” We often study books of the Bible, led by Janie Eriksen whose in depth teaching fosters a participatory environment.

Echo

We are a community who seeks to imitate and reflect the things of God to the people we encounter and the families God has given us. Our group consists of mostly 2-parent families, with biological, foster, and adopted children. We lead a conversation-style discussion through a study that requires no homework. We have regularly-scheduled social times, both coed and separate.

What are small groups like at Carmel? At Carmel, we call our small groups “Discipleship Communities” or “DCs” for short. DCs are designed to help people connect with God, connect with other believers, and connect with others. DCs study Scripture, share what is going on in their lives, pray, and encourage one another. Everyone is welcome to join a DC, wherever they are in their journey of faith.

Glad & Generous Hearts

We are a group of ladies studying God’s Word together. We do Bible book studies and other book studies. We are currently studying Lifeway’s “Masterworks” curriculum.

We are a diverse group of people that understand the importance of building a “family” relationship with one another. Approaching our lives with grace, love, and compassion. We enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to study God’s Word as
