Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?

Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God’s great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age.

Sundays @ 9:30am. We have a diverse group consisting mainly of couples but we also have several widows and widowers. We typically have good discussion as we study the Word, with lots of interaction. We have regular social gatherings and game nights. We typically study the Lifeway “Explore the Bible” quarterly curriculum.

S. Barlowe

Sundays @ 9:30am. An active small group of women using Lifeway’s MasterWorks curriculum. We love, serve and pray for one another as we grow together in the Word of God.

This Wednesday night DC is specifically for those who are a part of the creative community. Come be encouraged and inspired to reflect our Creator God in the gifts and roles He has given you.

Sundays @ 9:30am. We typically study through a book of the Bible with a combination of teaching and discussion. We are active within Charlotte including Project 658 and the Charlotte Rescue Mission.

The Names of God: His Character Revealed by Melissa Spoelstra

TUESDAY EVENINGS @ 6:30 – 8:00pm

Know God better through a study of His names. Today’s culture and others’ views, even those of other Christians, can present a distorted view of God. Some suggest God exudes qualities He does not possess such as being unloving or apathetic toward His creation. In a world where we find people creating God in their own image, studying God’s names can remind us that we are created in His. In fact, one of the best ways to know God’s true character and grow closer to Him is to study His names.

Whether having walked with God for many years or just starting out in a relationship with Him, by the end of this study we will not only know more about God but will know Him better―because through the discovery of God’s names, we will discover Him!

Sundays @ 11:00am. Our group consists of families with high school, college, and grown children and a few with grandchildren. We work through book studies together in a discussion-based setting. We regularly engage in on-site mission projects.

Sundays @ 11:00am. We usually are studying a book of the Bible. Our group will grow when students are home on breaks. This is a group of young adults, some of whom are in college, and some recent graduates pursuing career, ministry, or business opportunities.
