Kendal works with children and adults, dedicating herself to helping her clients find a sense of wellness. Kendal utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and client-centered approaches to help clients recognize how their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings influence patterns in their lives. Kendal believes in the collaborative relationship between counselor and client, emphasizing the importance of client empowerment. Kendal seeks to establish a welcoming and safe environment where clients are seen, heard, and valued.
Before studying counseling, Kendal was blessed to work as a Child Advocate Manager, where she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to advocate for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. Kendal led a team of volunteers to assist with children who had been removed from
their families due to unsafe home environments. The experience shaped Kendal to develop a passion for families and a value for community.
