Kenny is our Small Groups Pastor. He and his wife, Kay, grew up on the east coast of Florida. They have 3 adult children, Josh, Lauren and Bethany, and 7 grandchildren. Kenny worked at Florida Power & Light for 13 years before joining their church pastoral staff at Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, which he and Kay helped plant. After serving in various roles for 13 years, his family moved to Franklin, NC to plant a church in the mountains, while he worked bi-vocationally. When the manufacturing plant he worked at closed down, they moved to Charlotte where he continued in manufacturing for 7 years. Kenny and Kay joined Carmel in 2014 and served as leaders in a discipleship community. They have a passion for young adults and cross-generational discipleship and evangelism through authentic small group communities. Kenny loves being with his growing family, most anything social, sports, the great outdoors, and if there is a set of corn hole boards, you’ll probably find him there!
