1 John 2:18-27

The last days were ushered in when Jesus was born on earth and will end at His second coming. -No one knows when He will return -We make the mistake of needing to identify timing, antichrist, and world disasters “antichrist” is only found in 1&2 John -many have been labeled antichrist -not about who it is, but the spirit that is We must be ready today for Jesus’ return Verse 22 points to one critical issue – denying that Jesus is the Christ We are deceived by: a lack of grounding in God’s Word a lack of living in the power of the Spirit Are you “open” to being deceived through your lifestyle? We have to get Jesus “right”: -Jesus is not the means to get something we want -We are created to glorify Him -Every knee will bow to Him someday The spirit of Antichrist is here today: We must abide in The Spirit We must let the Word abide in us The Spirit will never say anything contrary to God’s Word Let the Word shape you and how you live.
