1 John 2:3-11

There is a HUGE difference in knowing about Jesus and KNOWING Jesus. When we know Him deeply, we will love others. How do we KNOW Jesus? When we keep His commandments We don’t know Him because we keep His commandments. His commandments become a precious treasure to us. When our love is maturing The love of God is being perfected in us. We want to obey the Word because we love Jesus. Matthew 5:44-48 When we walk like Jesus To abide implies fellowship, friendship, dependence, harmony, and communion with Jesus. When we walk in the light Living in the darkness is not merely not seeing, but the eyes quit working to see the light. Supernatural love comes from the Holy Spirit in us. Galatians 5; Romans 5 Do you love more now than you did 5 years ago? Where are your opportunities to love others like Jesus?
