As Executive Pastor, David’s role is to help Carmel faithfully implement its vision to make disciples of those nearest, our neighbors, and the nations. David is passionate to see Jesus’ Bride, the local church, living out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40), while fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Prior to coming to Carmel, David served with his family in cross-cultural ministry in the Muslim world.
David is originally from Greensboro, NC and is a graduate of NC State University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an avid swimmer and enjoys building furniture. David and his wife, Tiffany, have five children.
