Sundays @ 11:00am. We are parents of young children who recognize our design for a God-centered community as we raise our families to love and serve God and others. A harbor provides a place of safe anchorage for vessels from the open seas. We desire that our group be a safe refuge for its members. Harbors are also a place from which boats are sent out.  We want to encourage one another to live God’s mission as those sent by Him into the world.  We desire to foster a community where we build deep relationships, love and care for one another, and live out the Gospel of Jesus daily.

Grounded: Establishing the Truth of the Christian Faith and the Biblical Worldview

The Grounded seminar is designed to ground you in the truth of the Christian faith, to strengthen your faith in the rationality of the faith, to equip you to reach your family and friends, and to impact your culture for Christ. In each session, Brian uses humor and engages the audience in vivid, multimedia presentations. His style is entertaining and informative — never dry and never dull!

The seminar addresses the major problems facing the 21st century church and trains the audience to address these problems, including how to uproot the naturalistic worldview that dominates our culture today and to replace it with the Christian, theistic worldview. After establishing the proper worldview, you will find the intellectual barriers to the Gospel collapse, clearing the way for a fresh presentation of the Gospel, which is designed to reach both the human heart and mind.

The seminar has 10 major sessions:

• Session 1- A Call to Defend the Faith: Identifying the Problems Facing the 21st Century Church
• Session 2- The Devil’s Advocate: Establishing Answers to Tough Objections Against the Christian Faith
• Session 3- Establishing the Proper Philosophical Foundation & the Christian Worldview
• Session 4- Establishing Theism- The Existence and Attributes of God Part 1
• Session 5- Establishing Theism: The Existence and the Attributes of God Part 2
• Session 6- Establishing the Bible’s Historical Reliability
• Session 7- Establishing the Bible’s Divine Origin: Miracles and Fulfilled Messianic Prophecies
• Session 8- Establishing the Truth of the Gospel: Historical Evidence of Christ’s Resurrection
• Session 9- Establishing The Truth and Power of the Gospel: Only Christ Can Reach Both Your Heart and Your Mind
• Session 10- Establishing A Good Society

No registration required.

Grounded meets in Room S101/102 Wednesdays at 6:30pm for 10 weeks beginning January 8. The class will run until May 28 (with a break on May 7 and 14). *There will be no childcare after 4/30/25.

Hancock/McCullough

Sundays @ 9:30am. Join this small group of young professionals as they grow together in God’s word.

Hanley

Sundays @ 9:30am. We are currently doing various studies through books of the Bible along with some topical studies. We engage in social activities and service opportunities throughout the year.

Headley/Rowe

Sundays @ 11:00am. We are a community who seeks to imitate and reflect the things of God to the people we encounter and the families God has given us. Our group consists of mostly 2-parent families, with biological, foster, and adopted children. We lead a conversation-style discussion through a study that requires no homework. We have regularly-scheduled social times, both coed and separate.

Isaiah (Chapters 40-66)

THURSDAY MORNINGS @ 9:30 – 11:30am

Please join us as we unpack Isaiah 40-66 and watch the unfolding of history point us to Jesus as The Servant King, The Sovereign Conqueror and The Prince of Peace who is coming again! Many scholars refer to Isaiah as the Gospel of the Old Testament and together we will see why this is true. 

Come as you are with Bible, pen and notebook in hand. This is a safe place to find a community of women sharing life together and learning more about God’s word. Hope to see you soon.

Sundays @ 11:00am. We are a group of young professionals in our 20’s, unmarried, out of college and working who enjoy connecting socially during the week and on the weekends. We typically study a book of the Bible.

Long/Mitchell

Sundays @ 9:30am. Our goal is to encourage each other to abide in Christ, and to ruthlessly trust that God’s saving and redemptive work is expanding in our world—even when it appears otherwise. We are a multi-generational community. The life we live in Christ is full of sorrow and joy; peace and mystery; fear and hope; pain and the promise of resurrection; hills and valleys.
